• Full demolition of original 1990s kitchen
• Removed load-bearing wall with new steel beam
• Custom inset shaker cabinetry, painted Benjamin Moore Simply White
• Calacatta marble waterfall island with brass fixtures
• Refinished site-stained white oak flooring

Challenges Solved

Historic district permitting in Old Town required two rounds of architectural review. We coordinated directly with the City of Alexandria so the homeowner never sat in a permit office.
